I'm redirected to create a new account when I try to log in
If you're being redirected to create a new account instead of logging into your existing one, it’s usually due to:
1. Using a different login method than your first sign-in
2. Logging in with Shopify but selecting the wrong store
Follow these steps to resolve the issue.
Step 1: Ensure You're Using the Same Login Method
- If you originally signed up with Google, Shopify, or email/password, make sure you're using the same method to log in.
- If unsure, try logging in with each method to check which one is linked to your account.
Step 2: Check Your Shopify Store URL
If you're logging in via Shopify, you must select the correct store—the one you originally connected with Marketer.
If you're sure you're using the correct store, it may help to enter your myshopify.com domain instead of a custom domain when logging in.
How to Find Your myshopify.com URL
- Go to Shopify Admin and click Settings (bottom-left corner).
- Select Domains from the menu.
- Look for your myshopify.com domain (e.g.,
yourstore.myshopify.com
). - Try logging in with this exact store URL on the Marketer login page.
