Can not connect Meta to Marketer

If you're unable to connect Meta to Marketer, it’s often due to missing permissions or restricted assets. Here’s what might be causing the issue and how to fix it.

Common Issues & Solutions

  • Facebook Page Can't Be Selected (Missing Permissions)

If your Facebook Page isn’t selectable when connecting to Meta in Marketer, you likely don’t have full access to the Page in your Meta Business Portfolio.


  • How to Assign Yourself Full Access to the Page

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite and open Business Settings.
  2. In the left menu, select Pages under Accounts.
  3. Find the Page you want to use and click it.
  4. Under People, find your name. If you don’t have full control, click Add People.
  5. Select your name and check Full Control (Manage Page & Settings).
  6. Click Save Changes and try reconnecting in Marketer.

If the Page is still not selectable, it may be restricted or blocked by Meta.


  • Solution for a Restricted/Blocked Page

  • Check for restriction notices in Meta Account Quality.
  • If your page is blocked, contact Meta Support for an appeal.
  • If Meta doesn’t resolve the issue, create a new Page from your Meta Business Suite specifically for advertising with Marketer and connect that instead.

  • Pixel Can't Be Selected in Marketer

If your Pixel isn’t selectable, it may not be assigned to Marketer in your Meta Business Suite.

  • How to Manually Assign the Pixel to Marketer

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite and open Business Settings.
  2. In the left menu, go to Data Sources > Pixels.
  3. Select the Pixel you want to use.
  4. Under Connected Assets, click Assign Partners.
  5. Enter Marketer's Business ID (845646597259963).
  6. Select Full Control and click Confirm.
  7. Try reconnecting Meta to Marketer.

If your Pixel is too new, it may take time before Meta allows it to be shared. Running a small test ad can speed up the process.

✔ Ensure you have full access to your Facebook Page and Pixel in Meta Business Suite.

✔ If your Page is restricted, create a new one just for advertising with Marketer.

✔ Manually assign Marketer to your Pixel if it isn’t selectable.
