How to set up Google Merchant Center via Shopify

If you have any issues during setup, please visit Shopify Help Center and ask the chat assistant.

To set up Google Merchant Center with your Shopify store, follow these steps:

  1. Install the Google & YouTube Channel: Go to the Shopify App Store and install the Google & YouTube channel.

  2. Connect Your Google Account: From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels. Click on Google & YouTube and then click Connect Google Account. Select a Google account or create a new one and allow Shopify to access your Google account information.

  3. Create or Select a Merchant Center Account: If you don't have a Merchant Center account, click Create new to set one up. If you already have an account, select it from the drop-down list.

  4. Verify Your Account: Enter your phone number, select your country, and click Get Code to receive a verification code. Enter the code to verify your account.

  5. Set Up Target Market and Shipping: Click Select beside Target market to choose where you want to sell your products. Optionally, configure your shipping settings by selecting either automatic import from Shopify or manual setup in Google Merchant Center.

  6. Sync Your Products: Once your accounts are connected, your products will automatically sync with Google Merchant Center. Ensure your store meets all Google Merchant Center requirements.

Make sure your store is not password-protected, has a valid payment provider, and includes a refund policy and terms of service in the footer navigation menu.
